4 egg yolks
4 egg whites
½ cup sugar
plus 1 tablespoon
1 pint whole milk
1 cup heavy cream
3 ounces bourbon

Preparation: Note, this recipe calls for a stand mixer. Beat the egg yolks until light in color in the stand mixer bowl. Gradually add the 1/2 cup sugar and continue beating until the sugar dissolves. In the same bowl, combine the milk, cream, bourbon and, nutmeg. Stir to combine. In a separate bowl, stir the 4 egg whites lightly. Add the tablespoon of sugar to the egg whites and whisk until the mixture becomes thick. Combine the egg whites mixture with the egg yolk mixture and mix. Chill and serve.

1 cup Lime Juice OR Lemon Juice
2 cups strawberry flavored syrup — make sure syrup is red in color
3 cups Jamaican White Rum

Preparation: Stir all ingredients in a punch bowl. Place the mixture in the refrigerator to chill several hours. After chilling the mixture for a minimum of 2 hours, serve to guests chilled.

1 ounce dry sherry

The next day, use a large strainer to pour the liquid in the bowl into another container. Squeeze any excess liquid from the sorrel using a spoon. In the new container, combine the sugar, lemon juice, and rum, and stir until sugar has dissolved. Serve over ice.

2 ounce Apple Brandy (Calvados)
1 ounce Cognac
